Bill Davies Memorial Trophy
Old birds and yearlings that have raced the early series are eligable for this race being the second last Broken Hill race of the season, The winner recieves the Bill Davies memorial trophy donated by the Davies family.
Special Ring Race
To enter this race you need to buy special rings at the start of the season and band your own young birds, only 20 rings per flyer are allowed, winner takes the prize money. This will be the first Broken Hill race of the season.
Nick Veenman Shield
This race and shield is in honour and memory of the late Nick Veenman, a top pigeon racer and member of the Portland Racing Pigeon Club. First 300 mile combine race of the season. Any age bird can enter.
THREE BIRD SPECIAL
The flyer selects up to 3 birds with an entry fee of $5 per bird winner takes the total pool, birds have a different release time to main birds released on the day also a points race.
YOUNG BIRD DERBY
This race is flown with selected yearling birds only, no older birds allowed. No prize money allocated to this race only aggregate points. Non Club Rung Birds must be yearlings and transfered to be eligible.
Laurie Boyle 600 mile Memorial Shield
This race and shield is in honour and memory of the late Laurie Boyle, a top pigeon racer and member of the Portland Racing Pigeon Club, First Bird 600 mile race.
BREEDERS PLATE RACE 2021
Birds are entered into an auction sale where anyone can purchase a bird to race or have someone race it for them. This is open to Combine clubs to Race from thier lofts for the prize money split Buyer / Flyer / Breeder. Race from Mildura on the 29th August 2021
